Creamy Shrimp Casserole

4.4 lbs large shrimp with shells (or 2.2 lbs peeled)
Juice of 2 limes
Salt to taste
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 small can (approx. 4 fl oz) extra virgin olive oil
2 medium onions, chopped
4 tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped
1 ½ tablespoons paprika
1 box (18.3 oz) tomato sauce with basil and parsley flavor
2 tablespoons beef-flavored powder seasoning
15 basil leaves, chopped
200 g butter
250 g cream cheese
1 can (approx. 13.5 fl oz) heavy cream
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 bunches cilantro, chopped
2 bunches scallions, chopped

  13. Stir gently until a homogeneous cream is obtained
