1 ½ tablespoons annatto powder (colorau)
1 small can (520g) tomato sauce with parsley and basil flavor
2 tablespoons beef flavor powder seasoning
15 leaves basil, chopped
200 g butter
250 g cream cheese
1 can evaporated milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 bunches cilantro, chopped
2 bunches green onions, chopped

Preparation method
- Wash the shrimp well and marinate in lime juice and salt for about 20 minutes
- Rinse the shrimp again and drain completely
- In a large pan, brown the crushed garlic in olive oil
- Add the chopped onion, annatto powder, and chopped tomato
- Cook until the onion softens
- Incorporate the tomato sauce, powder seasoning, and chopped basil
- Add the butter and shrimp to the pan
- Cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Add the cream cheese and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring until the cream thickens
- If necessary, dissolve the cornstarch in a little broth removed from the pan and add to the mixture, cooking for another 3 minutes
- Add the chopped cilantro and green onions
- Turn off the heat and incorporate the evaporated milk
- Gently mix until a homogeneous cream is obtained
