1 kg beef (chuck, shoulder, or brisket) or pork loin, cut into large cubes
Optional: medium potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
8 large onions, cut into thick slices

Where to find ingredients
Beef (chuck, shoulder, or brisket) and pork loin can be found in any butcher shop or supermarket. Beef bouillon cubes are common in any supermarket's seasoning section. Onions and potatoes are easily found in farmer's markets, greengrocers, and supermarkets.
Preparation method
- Line the bottom of the pressure cooker with half of the onion slices
- Crumble 1 or 2 beef bouillon cubes over the onions
- Add the beef cubes over the onions
- Season the meat with the remaining beef bouillon cubes
- Cover the meat with the remaining onion slices
- Close the pressure cooker and cook over medium heat for approximately 25 minutes after it reaches pressure
- Turn off the heat and wait for the pressure to release naturally
- If you wish to add potatoes, remove the top layer of onions, add the potato slices, close the lid again, and cook for another 10 minutes after it reaches pressure
- Wait for the pressure to release naturally before opening
