Ingredients
1.5 kg cooked and shredded chicken
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Seasoning to taste (salt, pepper, fresh herbs)
3 tablespoons creamy cheese spread
1 cup water
2 cups milk
2 cubes of bacon or beef bouillon
1/2 cup cooked and mashed potato
1 tablespoon butter
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
Margarine for greasing the pan
2 beaten eggs
Breadcrumbs for coating
Oil for frying

- Knead the dough until it is smooth and let it cool slightly
- Open portions of the dough in your hands, place a portion of the filling, and shape into a coxinha (teardrop) form
- Dip each shaped coxinha first in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs
- Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the coxinhas until golden brown on all sides
- Remove the fried coxinhas and drain excess oil on paper towels
