Preparation method
- Cook the ground beef in salted water until well done
- Cook the potatoes in salted water until tender
- Mash the cooked potatoes with a masher, forming a puree
- Grate the onion and chop the fresh herbs
- In a bowl, mix the cooked and shredded beef with the potato puree, grated onion, chopped fresh herbs, creamy cream cheese, salt, and black pepper
- Knead all ingredients well until a homogeneous dough is obtained
- Lightly moisten your hands with wheat flour and shape the croquettes as desired
- If necessary, add more wheat flour to the dough to facilitate shaping
- Dip each croquette in the beaten egg white
- Then, roll the croquettes in breadcrumbs, coating them completely
- Heat plenty of oil in a pan
- Fry the croquettes in hot oil until golden brown
- Remove the fried croquettes and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil
- Serve the croquettes hot
